CARTRIDGE CONVERSION REVOLVER. Cal. 46 RF. S# 85993. Bbl. 8" octagon w/ blade sight. Five shot round conversion cyl. w/ Rollin White marking "PATENTED APRIL 3D, 1855". Conversion retains loading lever w/o an added ejector. Frame, cyl., bbl., grip straps & loading lever have 50% coverage of New York style period foliate scroll engraving w/ punch dot backgrounds. Silver finished bbl., frame & grip straps w/ gold finished cyl., conversion plate, loading lever, cyl. pin, hammer & trigger. Bottom flat of bbl., conversion cyl., conversion plate & percussion cyl. are marked "434". Bbl., frame & trigger guard are marked w/ assembly number "42". 2 piece Ivory grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: walnut case w/ raised brass plaque on lid. Blue velour fitted interior. Case contains percussion cyl., engraved & gold finish to match. Also includes powder flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench, cap tin, 7 RF 46 cal. cartridges, 3 bullets & UMC 2 piece empty primed metallic cartridge box. Box has a few missing side flaps. Purple special awards display ribbon marked "Centuries of Antiques / Disneyland Hotel, Anaheim, CALIF. March 1-2-3, 1976". 11/12/2007 Greg Martin Auctions invoice. CONDITION: very good. Frame, bbl. & grip straps retain 90% nickel finish. Cyl. & other parts retain 90% gold. Grips have acquired a yellow patina showing some age related shrinking & checking.
