Blue finish w/ case colored hammer, lever & buttplate. Nicely grained walnut forearm & straight grip stock w/ crescent steel buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter providing the following information "Serial number applied on October 03, 1902 / Type: Rifle / Caliber: 44 / Barrel Type: Octagon / Trigger: Plain / Sights: Lyman front and rear, blank rear seat. / Takedown / Received in warehouse on October 28, 1902 / Shipped from warehouse on October 29, 1902, Order number 164447". CONDITION: very fine showing a little use. Over 98% bright original blue showing some flaking on receiver extension w/ light scratches on action. Lever, hammer & buttplate retain incredibly vivid original case colors. Wood has good original finish showing some scratches & marks w/ mildew spots at butt. Bore is bright w/ strong rifling.
