POCKET REVOLVER. Cal. 31. S# 206640. This beautiful 4" pocket model is in standard configuration in original Colt mahogany casing with full accessories, made in 1862, one line New York address, six shot cylinder with rolled Stagecoach holdup scene. Casing is purple baize lined containing "COLT PATENT" eagle flask & two cavity mold, sealed pack of Colt cartridges, extra mainspring, cap tin, loose bullets & balls, and functional key. CONDITION: fine to excellent overall, all matching & original, retaining over 90% bright original case colors on frame, loading assembly, and hammer. Contains about 70% bright blue flaked not worn. Grip frame retains over 90% original silver. Grips retain virtually all their original factory varnish with edge wear and chip on right side. Casing and accessories are very good, flask only retains traces of varnish, mold and combination tool retain most of their original dull blue finish. Mechanically fine, crisp shiny bore.
