DEERFIELD CARBINE SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX, FORMER HENRY RODESCHIN COLLECTION. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 630-00091. Bbl. 18 1/2". Model 99/44 Deerfield Carbine semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Ruger in 2000. The left side of the bbl. is marked with the S# "630-00091" ("91" being former Ruger factory employee Henry Rodeschin's personally assigned factory S#), followed by "RUGER DEERFIELD CARBINE", with the cal. designation marked over the top of the receiver, behind the rear sight assembly. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain smooth wood pistol grip stock with black polymer Ruger-branded handguard. Brass-beaded blade front sight with flip-up aperture rear sight. MAGS: 1 4-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box. CONDITION: extremely fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some very light wear on the bolt and on the right side of the receiver from cycling of the action. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined rifling throughout. Wood stock and polymer handguard are extremely fine overall. Box shows some exterior wear but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. An extremely fine and low S# Ruger Model 99/44 Deerfield Carbine that one will find to be an extremely difficult example to upgrade from.
