Early 70's Ruger Mark I Semi-Automatic Pistol, #11-22142, .22 LR cal., 4.75'' tapered barrel, blue finish, factory checkered black plastic grip; left grip with black Ruger medallion. This pistol also features a Patridge front sight, fixed square notched rear sight, and three (3) magazines, all with silver bases. Included is an original red and black Ruger box, owner's manual, and what appears to be hobbyist made wood grips; box is not numbered but the information on the lid end matches the configuration of the pistol. Mfg'd in 1971. Previous owner's identification has been electro-penciled into the front strap. Condition is very good with approx. 96% original blue. Metal shows mostly normal light handling marks; right side of frame running parallel with the back edge of the grip has a more noticeable scratch approx. 1'' in length. Factory lettering is clear. Grips with mostly clean checkering and only a few minor handling marks. Smooth action, very good shiny bore. Box shows wear to the edges and one of the corners on the lower and upper piece are split; Ruger logo and end label are clear. Est.: $250-$450. (Modern/PPT)
