Early Colt Model 1905 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #1001, .45 ACP cal., 5'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips, with two (2) original and one reproduction magazine, pre-WWI box of Winchester .45 ACP 200 gr. cartridges in orange labeled box. With early 20th Century Mexican piteado decorated double buckle dress belt with ''LSM'' embroidered centerpiece, matching two-magazine cartridge pouch, and pigskin Mexican-made leather holster, as well as an additional piteado holster with black ''war belt''. Shipped June 19, 1906. (GETTING LETTER) Condition to pistol is fine. Frame retains approx. 80% original finish with most of the losses to front and backstrap. Slide retains approx. 60% thinning and toning blue. Grips with just moderate flattening to checks. Action is crisp, bore is very good. Dress holster with tight stitching and light general discoloration from storage. War belt with eight (8) X-type crossbone stampings. Accompanying holster with flaking to finish along edges, and about a 1'' loss to stitching near triggerguard area. Partial box of ammo includes 47 rounds, with good label and some tape repair.
