CO.", "CALIBRE .45" and "2 7/8". Receiver, lever, and hammer with a color case hardened finish; left side is marked "SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. / FARMINGDALE, N.Y." Straight grip walnut stock with case colored shotgun butt, forend with pewter tip. Barrel with a blade front sight and buckhorn ladder rear sight. Rifle also features an adjustable tang sight, and double set triggers. Matching numbered barrel. Rifle is in excellent condition, appearing near new. Barrel retains approx. 99% original factory metal finish, with only a few light marks from handling. Case colors show mild fading to the lever, balance is deep and rich. Wood with an attractive grain pattern and only a few minor handling marks. The most noticeable but still fairly negligible blemish on this rifle is an approx. half-inch hairline crack on the left side of the buttstock, adjacent the buttplate. It is minor and is likely caused by the buttplate screw or from shrinkage. Action operates smoothly and double set triggers function properly. Bore is mirror bright with excellent rifling.
