Generally, outfitters do not allow back to back donation hunts, so even if the description is not explicit, do not buy more than one hunt per country! If you want to string together two or more hunts, you must gain the approval of all outfitters ahead of bidding.
There is an implicit stipulation that any donation is for new customers only. Check with your outfitter!
Travel to Azerbaijan to hunt Eastern (Dagestan) Tur with Asian Mountain Outfitters. This Tur hunt includes five days of hunting plus a half day of driving/travel each way from Baku to the hunting area and back. If extra days are needed, they can be added for $350/day.
This hunt includes one Tur with no additional trophy fees. Hunter is responsible for the flights to and from Baku, Azerbaijan (travel is thru Istanbul Turkey via LAX, Houston, San Fran, Chicago, Atlanta or JFK on Turkish Airlines), Visa (completed a couple months before departure), lodging before or after hunt (1-2 nights in hotel at $70-150/night) and staff tips (about $1,000).
Driven hunts can be organized for non-fit hunters, but we don’t recommend hunting Tur in this manner. Each hunter has one guide and one assistant. Typical Tur sizes are 28-34”. Tur of 40”+ have been taken, but animals of this size are rare.
Hunt dates are June thru November. The winning bidder needs to coordinate their hunt dates with one or two of our other clients or you can bring a friend who books a Tur hunt. Mid-August through early October is the best time for good capes, great trophy quality and a small chance for snow. Later season hunting is for the more adventuresome and it is more difficult to find a big one due to more challenging weather conditions. Early hunts have great weather (hot) but the skins are with shorter hair.
If the winning bidder cannot hunt during a time one of our other clients is going (we need groups of 2 hunters for logistics reasons), additional fees will apply (approximately $1,000) to hunt a different date as it’s expensive to accommodate and host just one hunter. Also, arrangements can be made to postpone hunt until 2020, with approval from Asian Mountain Outfitters; any additional license fee increases over 2019 season will be paid by the hunter.
Tur became a CITES animal in 2018, so animals need to be shipped. This new CITES permit plus shipping is between 1600 and 1900 and is paid by the hunter before the trophy is shipped. If the hunter does not have an opportunity to harvest a Tur, there is a $2,000 refund or credit, which can be applied to a future hunt. A non-hunting companion is welcome for $2,500. A second Tur can be added for $4,500. If hunt space is available for additional hunters, on the same hunt date, the cost is $9,000-10,000 depending on the number of hunters coming. All costs are $USD.

This hunt is conducted using horses and a lot of mountain hiking at high elevations. Hunters need to be in good physical condition. The hunt is comparable to a British Columbia Mountain Goat hunt, but with minimal brush. Fog, snow and rain can occur on most hunts. This is typically a very difficult hunt, and the hunters need to be experienced in mountain hunting (9,000-12,000’, depending on the area) and long-range shooting (200-500 yards) and spiking out in a hut or backpack style tents.
Our outfitting partners speak English and they provide transportation to and from the hunting area, local guides, assistants, cooks, vehicles, horses (where needed), camps, food, lodging, and interpreter if they are not on the hunt (usually one English-speaking per camp), depending on the date and the area hunted. Calgary Chapter Safari Club International (CCSCI) has exercised reasonable care in the selection of auction items and prizes; however, it accepts no liability for the use or misuse and makes no warranty as to their suitability, safety, or function, either expressed or implied.
All sales are final, and NO exchanges or refunds on any item! Every effort has been made to ensure the quality of items; however, we cannot guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the buyer.
In reference to hunting donations, some specific dates are set by the donors; it is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements regarding dates and application for any required paperwork for licenses and permits. It is at the discretion of the outfitter whether or not to honour the purchase if no contact has been made within the 30-day limit.
Additionally, the outfitter is under no obligation to facilitate a hunt outside of the timeframe indicated in the hunt description. Please do not purchase the hunt if you can not utilize the hunt within the time frame indicated in the hunt description!
Live Auction
The auctioneer will facilitate bidding on live auction items, through both bids on the floor, and bids via this online hunting auction website. In case of a disputed bid, the bid may be re-opened at the discretion of the auctioneer whose decision is final.
CCSCI reserves the right of refusal on any item that does not meet sufficient % of the market value.
All travel arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser unless stated otherwise. CCSCI is not, and will not act as a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
The donor or outfitter is notified of the winning bidder by CCSCI. All online winning bidders will have the credit card processed immediately following the sale of the item and will receive an invoice regarding their purchase within 15 days of the close of the auction by email from the Online Hunting Auction Website. It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements. CCSCI does not normally contact the winning bidder.
Merchandise will be shipped to the winning bidder at the winning bidder's expense.
All Canadian content items including firearms and Canadian hunts are subject to 5% GST.

2. CCSCI offers hunts, art, jewelry, firearms and other tangible items for bid during live and silent auctions or by raffle. All items are transferred as is. Shipping insurance is at the cost of the purchaser. All valuations are provided by donors, and all descriptions are based on information provided by third parties. CCSCI shall in no event be held responsible for their accuracy.
CCSCI does not make implied or expressed warranties or representation of any kind, nor does CCSCI deem to have made any representation or warranty of the description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or condition of any item. No statement in the CCSCI publications, catalogues or brochures or in the bill of sale or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability by CCSCI. Any written warranties concerning the items purchased are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor of that item or hunt. Although third parties sometimes provide appraisals with items such as jewelry, CCSCI does not verify or warrant their accuracy or origin. Appraisals are the result of subjective valuations, and estimates of value and quality can vary markedly between competent and reliable appraisers. The provision of an appraisal does not represent a guarantee of value. 3. After bidding for an item concludes and the auctioneer designates a winning bidder, the designated winner (buyer) must immediately agree to a Buyer's Agreement. For buyers at the auction location, the buyer must sign the Buyer's Agreement and one copy will be given to the buyer. For online buyers, when the buyer clicks "I accept" after reading the Buyer's Agreement, or pays for the item, the buyer is deemed to agree to the Buyer's Agreement. For silent auctions, the Silent Auction Bid Sheet is considered the Buyer's Agreement to purchase the indicated item. All signatures on Buyer's Agreements, and "I accept" or payment for online purchases, are legal, binding and final. CCSCI will not recognize changes, additions or deletions to any auction description agreed to by the buyer and donor unless such changes are noted on the Buyer's Agreement and signed by the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor, or in the case of online buyers, noted in an electronic writing exchanged between the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor.

Goods - All goods covered by this invoice have been acquired or obtained by the Calgary Chapter of SCI (CCSCI) from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by CCSCI and that the purchaser is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bows, bullets or other items to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. THE GOODS ARE SOLD AS IS WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF THE CCSCI INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY. CCSCI ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR THE PRODUCTS' DESIGN OR USE. Any written warranties concerning the goods delivered to the purchaser are solely of the manufacturer of same.
Services - All services covered by this invoice have been acquired and obtained from and are to be furnished by third parties. No services are to or will be performed by CCSCI. CCSCI SHALL BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY OF ANY SUCH SERVICES OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM, RELATED TO OR CONNECTED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF SUCH SERVICES. THE PURCHASER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT CCSCI CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY POLITICAL UNREST OR INSTABILITY, MEDICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. CCSCI CAN NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES THAT MAY ARISE. PURCHASER FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PURCHASE IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AND THAT SHOULD LEGAL ACTION BE REQUIRED TO COLLECT FOR THE GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED BY THIS INVOICE, THEN THE PURCHASING PARTY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL COSTS.
This invoice and the terms and conditions here apply to and are binding on the heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns of both parties. This invoice contained the entire agreement between the parties and cannot be changed except by a routing instrument subsequently executed by the parties thereto.
