'No 3 Mk 1e' British military magazine fed bolt action service rifle chambered in .303 British. Manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by the Remington Arms Company of Delaware circa 1914-1916, for use during WWI. Features dog-leg bolt handle, protected blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight with peep apertures, approx 26 inch barrel, manual safety, sling swivels, volley sights, storage compartment in butt, blued finish, wood stock with handguard. Bore is good condition with frosted grooves, strong rifling. Retains 80% finish on metal parts, showing bare metal on sharp edges, where handled, and where moving parts rub. Stock is very good condition, with brass marking disc. Markings include "EY" and crossed keys proof on left side of receiver, "IE" in circle, "PATT 14" and "EY" on right side of butt.
