'Helwan Brigadier,' an Egyptian made single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered for 9x19mm Luger, and imported by Interarms out of Alexandria, VA. This is an Egyptian made copy of the Beretta 1951 'Brigadier.' Import marks are on the left dust cover. Pistol features a blued finish, 4.5" barrel, full-length metal guide rod, fixed blade front sight, dovetailed square notched rear sight, solid smooth curved trigger, checkered push-button safety at the top of the grips, external ring hammer with a serrated spur, serrated slide stop, serrated take-down lever on the right side of the frame, checkered push-button magazine release near the heel of the grip, accepts 8-round magazines, magazine disconnect, lanyard loop on the heel of the grip, and two-piece grooved black plastic wrap-around grips. The slide's serial numbers match the frame. The original blued finish retained is approximately 85% with handling blemishes, edge wear, and friction wear on the top of the barrel. Metal displays no rust, but there is a small ding on the rear sight. Action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling (dirty bore). The grips polymer is in good condition with very light handling wear, and a small crack at the top of the left grip panel. Pistol includes one magazine total.
Condition is NRA Near Very Good.
