Elk Valley Bighorn Outfitters is a single family operation that has been in existence since 1983. The area is situated in southeastern British Columbia within the Canadian Rocky Mountains and in the headwaters of the Elk River drainage.
The main lodge has all amenities and is accessible by vehicle with all other access by horseback. There are six rustic permanent camps that feature running water, a hot tub and sauna.
On this 1-on-1 8 day elk hunt you will experience some of the most breathtaking views featuring glacial peaks ,rugged forest, and golden plains. This trip can be upgraded based on availability and with special arrangements with the outfitter. You can bring another hunter with you for a fee of $7000 or a non-hunting companion for $350 per day.
Fees not included are licenses, tags, and Hunter Preservation Fee.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
