British military top-break double action Webley pattern revolver chambered for .455, produced by the Royal Small Arms Factory circa 1921. Features a blued finish, 6" barrel, patridge front sight, notched rear sight on the barrel catch, 'shaved' six shot cylinder that measures 1.450" long, square-butt frame with lanyard ring, and two-piece diamond checkered hard rubber grips. The serial numbers match on the frame, barrel and cylinder. Markings: Frame - "ENFIELD/Mk[crown]VI/1921," military proofs & "ENGLAND" Barrel - ".22," "MARK VI," military proofs and English proof house marks. Includes a Parker-Hale/Bisley Works marked .22 caliber conversion unit. Revolver retains approximately 90% of it's fine blued finish overall showing holster wear and heavy finish loss on the backstrap & trigger guard. Action is sound with very good lock-up, bore is excellent, markings are good and the hard rubber grips are very good but are slightly small in comparison to the frame.
