WWII Era English military top-break double-action-only revolver chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson, dated 1940. Imported by C.A.I. of St. Albans, V.T. with import stamp on the underside of the barrel. Features a black painted finish, 5" bbl, low-profile patridge front sight, square notched rear sight on the barrel catch, fluted six-shot cylinder, automatic extractor, smooth trigger, bobbed hammer, square butt frame with lanyard ring and two-piece grooved grips. The serial numbers on the frame and barrel are matching with the cylinder bearing the number R7334. Markings: Frame - "ENFIELD/No 2[crown]Mk 1*/1940" Barrel - "CAL.38.," "41," & military proofs. The revolver exhibits approximately 60% of it's black finish showing holster wear, handling marks and heavy wear on the cylinder.
