English Flintlock Blunderbuss w/ Bayonet
Features approx 16" long brass barrel, with bore opening to approx 1.25" at muzzle, spring loaded spike bayonet located on top of barrel, ramrod below barrel, brass buttplate. Flint lock appears in good working order. Bore is in good condition, smooth with staining from black powder use. Iron parts show consistent light pitting and grayish pewter coloration, some erosion seen on sharper edges of bayonet spike. Limited fancy engraving on triggerguard and top tang of buttplate. Wood is in good or better condition, with small dings and dents, missing piece on top near buttplate. London View mark and Proof mark on barrel.
