European Muflon Sheep Hunt in Croatia
This donation consists of five days stay and four days hunting for one hunter and one observer. It includes hunting organization, transfer to/from Dubrovnik airport, all meals and lodging. It also includes Reserve entry fees, hunting license, and ground transportation during the hunt, along with first treatment and measurement of the trophies. The donation does not include trophy fees ($5900 up to 80 cm + 25% Govt. tax), dipping, packing and export documentation ($500) or 25% Govt. tax on value of hunt ($1.375). Hunt will take place on the peninsula of Peljesac, which features low mountains and is covered by typical Mediterranean shrubbery. The Reserve offers the only true free range Muflon sheep hunt in Europe. The hunt will take place on foot, searching for sheep with binoculars from valley to valley. Best time to hunt this area is from Mid-October until Mid-March. Trophy quality is exceptional; in fact, all the biggest trophies from Croatia have been harvested on this Reserve. Lodging during the hunt will be in a hotel on the coast or in a hunting lodge on top of the highest mountain. More than 30 gold medal trophies come from this Reserve.
