ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 32, S# 38170. This revolver is featured in June 1996 Gun Report article by Mike Bricker, in standard configuration, variant 5" barrel, blued finish. Left side of barrel housing is stamped with a semicircular "KITTREDGE & CO" mark over "CIN. O." that was applied in 1865 by Kittredge. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: copy of June 1996 Gun Report article "Smith & Wesson and Kittredge". CONDITION: fine overall, complete & matching serial numbers and assembly markings, retaining 80% plus original blue with losses mostly on grip frame. Rosewood grips retain most all their original factory varnish. Mechanically fine, bright shiny rifled bore. PROVENANCE: from the Lifelong Collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-25005/JS).
