The best of information available indicates that the engraving on the gun is of custom quality. Unfortunately, we are at a loss to determine exactly who did the engraving work as the gun was one of a group which were intended to be given as special awards or gifts by the Egyptian Government to their high ranking political leaders. There were 20 guns involved and all work had to be of first quality and identical in every respect and accordingly the work was given to our then employed engravers with the above instructions. Unfortunately for us the political picture in that Country changed before we had completed the order." CONDITION: over 97% blue showing slight muzzle & edge wear with cyl. dragline. Very good grips.
