Fish two different rivers with renowned fly-fishing guide Scott Freeman. Days can be split up into two different trips and do not have to be done in specific order.
Part 1: Drift Boat Fishing on the Lower Sac River.
Catch monster Rainbows on the Lower Sacramento River. Scott fishes many different runs and 25-30 miles of river on the lower Sacramento. Fishing is based out of Redding or Anderson for that portion of the trip.
Part 2: Day on Fall River at Fall River Mills.
This is a famous spring fed river near Dana, California. The Fall River is renowned for its Hexagenia-limbate Hatch or Hex Hatch. This is the largest mayfly and the June/July hatch causes spectacular feeding frenzies by 16- to 22-inch trout.
Whether you are just beginning or have been fishing for years, Scott is a great guide and can work with you to perfect your technique.
Not included: Lodging (guide can make great recommendations), California Fishing License, tips/ gratuity.
