FN 49 semi-automatic rifle, 8mm caliber, Serial #35076. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 23” import marked barrel with a protected blade front and military tangent style rear sights. The rifle retains nearly all of the military finish with an Egyptian crest and text on the front ring. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with handling marks consistent with service use. There is a blank brass disc in the right side of the butt stock, sling swivels and a period leather military style sling. The bore is fair and the action functions well on this Belgian made FN 49.
