FN MODEL 1935 (p) HIGH POWER SEMI-AUTO PISTOL.

Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 18236b. Bbl. 4 3/4". Mfg. Jan. 1944 - Aug.1944 w/ S# 1b to 61800b as third variant of fixed sight German WaA 140 proofed pistols. Basic mill finish w/out polishing before being blued. Full matching numbers on frame, slide & bbl. Correct features of: ring hammer, takedown slide depression, no mag. safety, border checkered chocolate brown Bakelite grips & w/out stock slot. MAGS: 1 properly rough finished 13 rd. having split tail base & aluminum follower. Base of spine has "7" & "6" (or 9) 90 degrees apart. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair to good dark oiled flap holster (stud & strap retention) w/out markings. Spare mag. pouch on front for some single stack mag. Repaired & replaced dbl. belt loops on back w/ stitching holes from prior single wide loop. Front near top slotted for lift strap (missing). Holster fits well even though not for pistol. 1 March 1946 bring back document identifying pistol by # only (no suffix b) as transferred to Tech SGT. Robert O. Gee. CONDITION: about very good original finish showing appropriate mill marks. Slight high point wear as expected plus slightly more from holstering such as front of slide. Slight grip hand wear. Sm. mark on top of slide in front of rear sight. Minimal grip strap wear. Near excellent bore. Very nice wartime example. (21-3423/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
