1) AMERICAN IVORY GRIPPED EAGLE POMMEL SWORD. 28” curved horseman’s blade. Attached tag “Hallenbake-Jones-Dupell family” CONDITION: good, brass slotted guard retains about half of its gold plating, knuckle bow bent, certifiable antique ivory grip has hand worn patina, 2 long vertical cracks. Blade is dark, uncleaned w. areas of pitting. 2) IRON MOUNTED CONTINENTAL SMALL SWORD, 31’ colichemarde blade. CONDITION: good to very good overall, blade has gray/brown patina, broken tip, iron patina to grip & guard. 3) BRASS MOUNTED CONTINENTAL SMALL SWORD, urn pommel, 31.5” double-edged blade. CONDITION: good to very good overall, blade gray w/ pitting, hilt retains traces of gilt, wire wrap to grip is sprung. 4) GERMANIC BRASS MOUNTED HUNTING SWORD, 27” double-edged blade, reverse “P” guard, brass back strap, brass studded leather covered grip, scallop shell languet. CONDITION: good to very good overall, blade has dark patina w/ traces of gold design, rounded point. Brass has dark olive patina. (02-14194/JS). $800-1,200.
