1) 4TH MODEL "LADY"DERRINGER. Cal. 22 Short. S# 22577DER. Bbl. 2 1/4". 4th Model Derringer in the "Lady" Derringer configuration. Side pivoting Thuer action, gold plated w/ pearlite grips. Front sight is an integral blade on the 12 o'clock portion of the bbl. on the muzzle. CONDITION: bbl. opens w/ ease & locks closed. Right side pearlite grip appears to had been repaired at some point evidenced by the reminisce of a thin hairline crack. Bore is dark w/ light rifling. Fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (20-940/JZ). MODERN. 2 & 3) 4TH MODEL COLT DERRINGERS CASED SET. Cal. both 22 Short. S# 51686D & 51685D. Bbl. both 2 1/2". Consecutive numbered cased set of 4th Model Derringers, chambered in 22 Short, in factory Colt presentation box. Side pivoting Thuer action bbl. Plated receiver w/ black chrome bbl. & walnut grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt presentation box; red velvet lined, emblemized in red satin w/ Colt logo on inside. Box exterior marked w/ Colt horse in circle & presentation plate is not engraved. CONDITION: bores are both shiny w/ period correct rifling. Finish on both guns mostly still intact, only lightly stained or thinning on few sm. backstrap contact points which may have derived simply from inserting & removing from display case. Fire control mechanisms appear to function correctly when cycled by hand. (20-1050 & 20-1051/JZ). BOTH CURIO. 4) CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL MODEL COLT. Cal. 22 Short. S# 6068W. Bbl. 6". Presentation cased Civil War Centennial chambered in .22 Short. While every effort has been made to resemble a black powder to modern cased ammo conversion, it is actually a single shot pistol which must be completely disassembled in order to load & fire a single rd. The cyl. does not rotate, nor does the original loading lever operate. Dark black finish on bbl. & cyl. w/ gold accented frame plus hardwood grips. Light commercial engraving on grip bottom & Colt circled pony logo on left side receiver w/ S# appearing on opposing side. Left side bbl. marked: "CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL MODEL 22 CAL. SHORT"& right side bbl. marked:"COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U. S. A.". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: blue Colt presentation box designed to look period correct w/ certificate of authenticity. CONDITION: shiny bore w/ traditional rifling. Other than very light oxidation on carbon steel hammer, all outward indications point towards being unfired. Finish on cyl. has one very sm. spot where its been disrupted but otherwise very good plus. Disassembly is easy & all parts appear functional. (20-1052/JZ). CURIO. $800-1,200.
