Shane Johnston, owner/outfitter of Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand, a long time HSCF Donor and HSCF's 2013 Professional Hunter of the Year, invites two hunters to experience the breathtaking scenery from the Seward mountains to the Pacific Ocean while hunting red stag, South Pacific Arapawa Ram and Alpine goat on this 5-day/4-night 2x1 hunting adventure on New Zealand's South Island - includes the trophy fees for a representative Arapawa Ram and an Alpine goat for each hunter and a $1,000 credit for each hunter to put towards their red stag.
Method of take is rifle, bow or muzzleloader.
This hunt is available for open dates March-August 2023 or 2024 and may be upgraded by adding days or other available species at the current price list.
Additional hunters and non-hunters are welcome.
Transportation during the hunt is by 4x4 side by side vehicle where stag, ram and goat are hunted in the same exclusive location.
Four Seasons owns its very own private hunting estate where there are tremendous hunting opportunities to be enjoyed, with some of the very best genetics on their trophy animals throughout the South Pacific.
You will have the privilege to hunt out of Kaikoura, which sits on the East Coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean where there is great lobster diving and fishing available.
The hunting is spot and stalk, where there are numerous 4x4 tracks for driving and hiking access where hunters will be spoilt on the numbers and quality of animals available to hunt including Arapawa Ram, red stag, elk, fallow, white stag, goat and boar. Tahr and chamois is also available nearby.
This package includes field prep, transportation to shipper, RT transfers from Christchurch (within 5 days), comfortable ranch style accommodations, home-style country cuisine and refreshments, including NZ beer and wine.
Not included are airfare to/from Christchurch, before/after hunt accommodations, rifle permit /hire, additional species hunted, balance of stag fee (red stag from $6,500) firearm permit at $25 (if bringing your own), dip-pack service and gratuities. A deposit of $1500/hunter is required to secure hunt dates.
NOTE: This hunt cannot be taken in conjunction with any other NZ hunting safari or a safari already booked with Four Seasons.

AUCTION RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules apply to all bidders participating in online bidding and must be followed unequivocally. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and HSCF staff will render decisions on any disputes regarding the bids during the auction.
HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
Most hunt donations have specified dates for which they may be taken. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction descriptions are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each winning bid. At the conclusion of the auction, the winner will receive an email acknowledgment and a paid invoice once payment has been processed.
In the event the winner's card is declined, HSCF will make one (1) attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, HSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, may offer the item for resale.
HSCF online auction winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
Online bidders agree to not interfere or disrupt the standard working function of any aspect of the online auction, via any device, software or other means.
If an active bidder is not satisfied with an aspect of the online auction, the bidder's only recourse is to discontinue use of the online auction system prior to the conclusion of bidding or the purchase of an item.
HSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction and/or to void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and offer any goods affected by any malfunction for resale.
All disputes regarding HSCF auction items purchased during this auction shall be submitted in writing to HSCF. All disputes and/or requests for refunds must detail and demonstrate proof of dispute. HSCF, at its sole discretion, may or may not approve a requested refund, based on the evidence and information provided. Credits or refunds will not be given, for any reason that is beyond the control of HSCF, if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item with the time frame described in the auction description. Credits will not be provided by HSCF for any item for which the donor and buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction description as provided during this auction.
For any approved credits or refunds, which will be made at the sole discretion of HSCF and are final, the credit or refund will not exceed the amount allocated to HSCF for the specific item, in the case of items for proceeds are to be shared with any third party.
