MODEL 650 SPORTING RIFLE BY HARRY LAWSON WITH SCOPE. Cal. 7mm Rem. Mag. S#. 191601. The "650" was Lawson's top of the line rifle & was custom made using whatever action the customer desired. Right side of breach end marked "H. Lawson Co. 650" & w/ cal. Model 98 Mauser action has pre WWI proofs on left side of receiver ring & J.P. Sauer S# on right. Bridge has been lowered & reshaped & a Burris one piece scope base installed. Bolt handle has been lowered & swept & a commercial safety has been installed. Original bottom metal retains dbl. set triggers & hinged floorplate w/ lever release. Lawson's "Cochise" styled thumbhole stock is of a superb piece of exhibition quality thin shell walnut (Bastogne?) & measures 14" over flared black white line pad.
