This high quality art recast from the original, sculpted in 1900 by Frederick Remington, is intriguing. Remington's first bronze done with the lost-wax casting method. A man on his horse brace against the serious winds, that are coming from behind them... both are holding their own! This artwork is extremely appealing if you love animals and their special bond with humans. It measures about 22" tall by 18" long and is in very good condition and mounted on a base. Bio-Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861-1909) was well known for his western genre sculptures and paintings and was the most successful Western illustrator in the "Golden Age" of illustration at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
