First Edition 1998 "The Soul of the Hunter" Signed "Nairobi 2001 Alfredo Pelizzoli". COLLECTIBLE AFRICAN HUNTING BOOKS?
The author Alfredo Pelizzoli was an Italian adventurer, and artist and a hunter. In 1955 he sold his business to drive around the world. He only got as far as Kenya, where he decided to stay, opening a magazine publishing business there. He then decided to become a professional hunter and started his own safari business, acting as an apprentice hunter with well-established hunters whom he hired. He took many European clients hunting for elephant, lion, bongo, buffalo and more over a long time in Tanzania, the Central African Republic, Sudan and Ethiopia. He went on to establish a luxury lodge in 1973. This book details the many hunting stories of Pelizzoli for a variety of big game species across Africa.?
