Fishing for dinosaurs in B.C.!! Sturgeon are north America’s largest freshwater fish, and can reach weights in excess of a 1000 pounds!! Covert Outfitting guides fish the mighty Fraser River. This river has been a catch and release fishery for over 20 years, consistently producing huge sturgeon. Sturgeon, despite being a bottom feeder, put up an amazing fight often jumping many times once hooked. These fights can last an hour or more. Your experienced guide will help you through the entire experience, from baiting your hook to helping you land a 100 year old monster!
You'll fish from an anchored river boat so it's a great adventure anyone can experience, regardless of age or physical limitations. Covert Outfitting provides everything necessary for a successful day on the river including bait, tackle, boats and professional guides. Bring friends or family along for an additional $50 USD per person. Accommodations before or after your days of fishing are not included. The licenses and Hunter Preservation Fund are not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
