SHOTGUN WITH TWO SETS OF BBLS. AND CASE. Cal. 12 ga. 2 3/4". S# 2345.46.877. The 28" and 30" demibloc bbls. of Bohler Antinit steel are fitted with narrow ventilated ribs and are engraved "CONCO ARMS EMMAUS PA" on left sides of top bbls. Action and bbls. are stamped with Ferlach Nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers with a proof date of August 1977. Bottoms of bbls. are also engraved "MADE IN AUSTRIA". Actual maker's name cannot be found on bbls. or action, however action is stamped with Ferlach gunmaker number "46" (Josef Schonlieb). Coin finished double Kirsten sidelock O/U action features automatic safety ("S" inlaid in gold), raised rib tumbler end cocking indicators and double triggers (front articulated). Action and lockplates are engraved with about 60% coverage attractively cut shaded scroll with small scroll and acanthus borders. Fences are engraved with full coverage relief shaded scroll. Blued top lever and trigger guard are scroll engraved to match. Finely marbled and lightly fiddle figured European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15" over black "Old English" rifle pad. Matching ejector forend with Deeley release services both bbl. sets. MEASUREMENTS: 28" BBLS: Bore Diameter: T .723", B .722". Restriction: T .020" (MOD), B .014" (LIGHT MOD). Min. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes in gray canvas leather trimmed case lined in gray velvet and has space for gun and both sets of bbls. CONDITION: very fine, close to "as new", appears essentially unfired with some scattered handling and assembly marks in metal and a few minor dings and scratches in wood, mostly on left side of butt. Bores are bright and shiny without noted problems. Action is tight. Ejectors are somewhat out of time. Case is fine, interior with some soiling and compressions. (22-5227/MGM). CURIO. $6,000-10,000.
