GROUP OF 5 WWII ERA BAYONETS WITH SCABBARDS.

Bayonets are from Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Italy & Brazil.
1) FINNISH MODEL 1935. 11 3/4" fullered blade; blade marked on right ricasso, "Sk. Y Hackman & Co.". "Sk" stands for the (White Guard). Cross guard has distinctive Finnish quillon which is marked on left side "S". Knurled wood grips w/ 2 rivets; oil hole in pommel. Blued steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade & handle parts have scattered spots of light oxidation & light wear; blade has been sharpened. Grips have very good appearance. Scabbard retains lg. percentage of original blue w/ areas of very light oxidation & scattered scratches.
2) SWEDISH M1896. All metal bayonet has an 8" blade w/ crown acceptance mark on both sides, blued steel handle w/ knurling. Steel scabbard marked w/ "7" over "I19" unit marking. CONDITION: bright blade has been lightly sharpened; balance of metal parts have 50% worn, thinning blue.
3) SWISS MODEL 1918 SCHMIDT RUBIN. 11 3/4" Dbl. edged blade marked on right Ricasso "ELSENER SCHWYZ". Smooth walnut grips; straight cross guard marked w/ S# & Swiss cross acceptance mark. Blue steel scabbard w/ leather tab. CONDITION: bright blade has streaks of light oxidation & wear from scabbard. Lightly worn grips. Scabbard has lg. percentage of original blue w/ scattered spots of light oxidation throughout.
4) ITALIAN MODEL1891/97 - TROOP SPECIAL. Bayonet is the standard 1891 Carcano Model w/ an unusual horizontally slotted catch. Rifles taking this bayonet had a special transverse lug to accommodate the horizontal catch. 11 3/4" Fullered blade; straight cross guard w/ ball finial. Pommel marked on left side w/ "1/2439". Smooth walnut grips; brass mounted leather scabbard. Scabbard marked "A.R.E.T.1935". CONDITION: blade has been sharpened; retains traces of original blue w/ wear & spots of light pitting. Grips have light wear & sm. crack on rear of right grip. Leather scabbard has scuffing & flexing. Brass throat & tip have turned patina.
5) UNMARKED 15" FULLERED BLADE BAYONET. Closely resembles Model 1934 Brazilian but has straight cross guard. S# 33348 at end of pommel. Bright metal w/ smooth 2 rivet walnut grips; blued steel scabbard. CONDITION: bright metal parts have very light wear & handling marks plus scattered sm. spots of oxidation. Grips have light wear. Blue scabbard has wear & light oxidation throughout. (02-16309-20/RW). $200-400.
