This group consists of 1 Pre-Civil War militia officer’s chapeau w/ significant loss of beaver fur. / 1 Circa 1890 Massachusetts Militia kepi w/ bullion 9th Infantry insignia on the front. / 1 Circa 1890 Iowa kepi for a military college w/ bullion eagle on the front. / 1 Circa 1900 Maine Militia kepi for Company G of the 1st Infantry. / A 1890s period Rhode Island Militia kepi w/ no insignia & heavy mothing. / A 1900s period naval cap possibly for a merchant vessel w/ heavy mothing. / 1 Blue circa 1900 Lodge hat w/ the initials, “S.M.S.I.D.B.” on the front w/ a lg. bullion star. / 1 Vietnam era enlisted overseas cap. / 1 WWII era naval officer’s visor cap w/ bullion insignia on the front. / 1 Vietnam era beret. / 1 WWII naval enlisted cap w/ no tally. / 1 WWI US helmet w/ painted 3rd Army insignia on the front & eagle & boat on the sides of the helmet. / 1 US WWI helmet w/ chainmail face shield for a machine gunner. / 1 US WWI helmet w/ rain cover & neck shield. / 1 US WWI helmet w/ pine tree insignia painted on the front & dove on the crown. No liner or chinstrap. / 1 WWII era M1 helmet liner w/ an Air Corps band insignia painted on the front. / 1 WWII front seam, swivel bail helmet w/ correct liner & 2 general’s stars on the front. / 1 Vintage 1940s Rawlings marked football helmet w/ black finish & full lining. / 1 Pair of 1880-90’s cavalry boots. 1 Boot has an open seam in the rear.
