1) Portuguese Model 1885 Kropatschek. 18 1/2" fullered Yataghan blade. Blade is marked on right ricasso w/ "X" acceptance mark. Blade is marked on top in script "STEYR 1886". Straight cross guard w/ S# and acceptance mark. Smooth dark walnut grips. Birdshead pommel. Non matching steel scabbard. 2) German M 98K. 9 7/8" fullered blade. Blade marked on left ricasso "cof 43". Right ricasso has S#. Smooth walnut grips. Flash guard is present. Birdshead pommel. Steel scabbard is marked "41 asw". 3) German K98. 10" fullered blade. Blade is marked on left ricasso " 44 crs". Marked on right ricasso w/ S#. Dark brown composition grips w/ slanted grooves. Flash guard is present. Birdshead pommel. Matching steel scabbard. 4) Yugoslavian Model 1924. 15" unmarked bright fullered blade. Straight cross guard w/ muzzle ring. Smooth walnut grips w/ spanner type fasteners. Birdshead pommel. Unmarked steel scabbard. 5) Yugoslav Model 1924 short. 9 5/8" fullered blade. Cyrillic marked on right ricasso "44". S# on cross guard matches scabbard. Smooth hardwood grips w/ spanner type fasteners. Birdshead pommel. Blued finish. Steel scabbard has leather frog. 6) Yugoslav Model 1925 short. 9 5/8" fullered blade. Right ricasso is Cyrillic marked w/ "44". Straight cross guard is numbered to match steel scabbard. Smooth walnut grips w/ spanner type fasteners. Birdshead pommel. Blued finish on scabbard & bayonet. CONDITION: bayonets have wear commensurate w/ long service w/ light oxidation, spots of fine pitting, scattered scratches & handling marks. Scabbards may have shallow dents & flaking finish. Leather frog has tight stitching & although worn appears serviceable. (02-19611-9/RW). $300-600.
