SN: 2820.72 'Special Order' Deluxe, engraved blitz action drilling featuring side-by-side 2 3/4" chambered 12 gauge barrels atop a .30-40 Krag barrel. Produced in Ferlach, Austria circa 1972 by Gottfried Juch. Configuration: French greyed scalloped receiver with Germanic scroll & game scene engraving featuring grouse on the left side & red deer on the right, blued 28" barrels with matted sighting rib & Greener-style crossbolt, slightly raised blade front sight with bead top, automated flip-up rear sight, claw mounted Redfield 1-4x scope with duplex reticle, extractors, double triggers with single set trigger in front, bushed strikers, sliding barrel selector mounted on the tang, Greener-style safety, sling swivels studs, skip-line checkered walnut splinter forend with Deeley release and pistol grip shoulder stock with black grip cap, cartridge trap, beaded right hand cheek piece & Old English recoil pad. LOP measures 14.5" and the fixed chokes measure Full/Mod. Includes a leather wrapped locking trunk case with faux fur lining. Case contains keys, snap caps, spare strikers & springs. The receiver shows little to no visible wear, the blued triggerguard has turned plum and the blued barrel retain the majority of their original finish showing some dark grey discoloration & light surface rust on the muzzle & around the front sight. Action is tight, the bores are pristine, optics are sharp and the wood stocks are near fine with a gouge at the forend tip.
