Hunt one of North America’s most iconic species, the mighty muskox. A remnant from the ice age, hunting muskox in the relatively warm climate of Greenland during this month of August makes this an unforgettable experience for every North American hunting enthusiast. Hunt can be upgraded to include central barren ground caribou for $4,500. The hunt can take place anytime from August 15th through September 15th, 2016 or 2017. Archery success rates are very high. Rifle hunting is also available as an option. This hunt does qualify as a North American Muskox hunt.
Transportation during the hunt is mostly by jet boat. Additional fishing for arctic char, hunting for arctic hare and bird hunting available at no additional cost. There are no license fees for hunting in Greenland. Additional hunters are welcome at $6,500; non-hunters are welcome at $3,500. This donation includes trophy prep, transportation to shipper, round-trip transportation between Kangerlussuaq Airport and the concession, licenses and permits, deluxe tented camp accommodations and all meals. Hotel accommodations before/after the hunt in Kangerlussuaq are recommended at $100/night.
