If you are looking for a unique backcountry experience come spend 10 days on a 1:1 spot and stalk hunt with “Old Stu”, hunting one of the most productive interior Grizzly areas of the province for true silver tip Grizzly. This world renowned area has produced many record book bears over the years. Stuart Maitland has been outfitting in this area for 35 years and owns the exclusive guiding rights to 3500 square miles of prime big game country.
The Hunt and Harvest fees are included. CITES permits, tags, licenses, royalties, and Hunters Preservation Fee will be extra. Black bear may be added to your trip by special arrangement with the outfitter. Accommodations will be determined by Grizzly movement, either out of our lodge or an outpost cabin. Transportation to the Maitland's Lodge is not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
