Group of Three (3) WWII German Leuchpistole 42 Flare Pistols, stamped and welded sheet metal construction, 6.1" steel barrels, 26.5mm (4 bore) cal., push-button release lever, external hammer, stamped trigger, lanyard loop at bottom of grip, brown Bakelite grooved grip panels, all marked with maker code "wa" for H. Schneider mfg'r. 1.) #151684, retains approx. 50% original gray phosphate finish, with light brown patina on most of the barrel and scattered areas of the frame. Bore is lightly pitted, action functions ok. Grips show numerous small scratches and scuffs. 2.) #175483, retains about 30% original gray phosphate finish, with scattered light brown patina on the frame. Barrel has been wire brushed to a mottled patina, extending over the edges of the frame. Action works properly, bore is dark but should clean ok. Grips show age, the right grip has several heavy scratches in the center and a tight hairline around the lower screw. 3.) #116150, the frame and barrel have been mostly cleaned of any original finish, with some evidence of pitting around the grips and left side of frame and barrel. Barrel has a large dent at the front top edge, action has been wired shut, hammer and trigger function properly, bore is lightly frosted. Grips show light dings, scratches and scuffs.
