H&K USC 45 ACP CARBINE.
Cal. 45 ACP. S# 47-001525. Bbl. 16". The H&K USC (Universal Self Loading Carbine) is the civilian variant in semi auto only, rather than select fire, of the UMP (Universal Machine Pistol). This was heavily marketed as the "next generation" of SMG's, to replace the highly successful MP5 family. Available in both 9mm Parabellum & .45 ACP, this example belonging to the latter. The 16" bbl. has no threads w/ 6X polygonal rifling w/ a right hand twist to properly stabilize the 230 gr. pill. Protected blade front sight w/ a dual aperture rear sight. Top mounted 6 1/2" picatinny rail for sight mounting w/ 4 1/2" rail sections at 3-6-9:00 on the forend, currently housing a black plastic vertical foregrip below bbl. & an unidentified laser sight at 3:00. An aftermarket 5 1/2" tri rail adapter has been added to factory primary rail housing a Burris Fast Fire on top & unidentified weapon light at 3:00. Grey chassis w/ ambidextrous safety/ selector & left side bolt release. Mag release located rear center of mag similar to placement on the AK47 family of firearms. Black nylon sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: H&K owners manual. CONDITION: all outward appearances indicate more time was probably spent accessorizing this firearm than shooting it. Left side of pistol grip has a tiny bit of epoxy residue possibly from mounted a pressure pad based on the configuration. Shiny bore w/ strong rifling & fire control mechanism appears to function correctly when cycled by hand. (21-1457/JZ). MODERN. $800-1,200.
