A semi-automatic version of the Model 50 Submachine Gun, the Model 60 was produced in limited quantities (approximately 3,248) between 1944 and 1946 for Police Use. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, the 3-line model and address markings atop the receiver, and the "SAFE S.A." selector markings on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock with a ribbed steel buttplate. Barrel marked "PH". !8" barrel, parkerized finish, blowback action from a closed bolt position. Charged via a port in the underside of the forearm. One piece walnut stock, sling swivels, steel buttplate. Bore is excellent/bright, action is smooth/tight, wood is very good+ with minor scratches, finish is about 97% with some minor scratches/rubs. These carbines rarely come up for sale, especially in this condition. Comes with (4) original H&R Reising M50 submachine gun 20-rd magazines, two blued, & 2 parkerized.
