HENRY 1860 LEVER ACTION RIFLE.
Cal. 44 HRF. S# 11540. Bbl. 24" octagon with integral 15 rd. mag. tube and 5" rotating shroud to facilitate loading. German silver blade front sight with folding leaf rear sight. Brass action. S# marked on top of barrel, top tang channel of stock and inside lower tang. Straight hand walnut stock with brass crescent buttplate having sling swivel on left side. Left side of barrel has loop for front swivel. CONDITION: barrel, mag. tube, hammer and trigger have a dark patina appearance with scattered spots of corrosion. Barrel shroud has series of light dents along both sides. Rear sight staff has slight bend. Receiver and sideplates have a dark mustard color patina showing numerous scratches and marks. Stock has worn finish showing scratches, marks and small dents. Action functions properly. Some screws show screwdriver distortion. Sideplates have proud fit along top edge of receiver.
