ON 1 1/2 FRAME. Cal. 12 Ga. 2 5/8". S# 211473. The 28" bbls. are marked with Parker CT address and "VULCAN STEEL" on concave matted rib. All correct markings are on watertable and lump which is stamped with frame size "1 1/2". Casehardened action features automatic safety and double triggers and is engraved in usual "V" style with "Parker Bros." on each side within zig zag borders. Blued trigger guard has serial number on tang. Parker capped pistol grip lightly figured American walnut buttstock measures 14" over Parker dog's head buttplate with spur. Matching splinter forend does not have patent date on iron. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS.: Bore Diameter: R: .734", L: .734". Restrictions: R: .030" (FULL), L: .040" (EXTRA FULL). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .029", L: .031". STOCK: DAH: 3". DAC: 1 5/8+". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14". WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: exceptionally fine. Gun is "as found" and is quite dirty. Bbls. retaining over 95% original blue with some sharp edge wear and some scattered light marks. Action retains approx. 80% casehardening color. Very strong on right side with some flaking and discoloration on left. Bottom of action also shows some uncleaned oxidation and considerable flaking of finish especially on trigger plate. Screws appear to be unturned. Trigger guard retains over 90% of its original blue. Stocks retain nearly all of their original finish with some light scratches and also need judicious cleaning. Buttplate screws and forend tip retain nearly all of their case color. Forend latch is flaked and retains just some of its color. Bores are bright and shiny with no noted problems. Mechanically fine.
