TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 Ga. S# V290839. This economy model was introduced in 1919 & had all the features of the higher grade trap guns of the day aside from auto ejection. This gun has 34" monobloc bbl. w/ slightly raised matted ventilated rib fitted w/ 2 bronze beads. Case hardened action of Flues design has zig-zag border engraving & is marked "ITHACA Victory GRADE" & w/ Ithaca name & address on left side. Trigger plate has central star engraving. Straight grip buttstock of relatively plain American walnut measures 14 3/8" over solid brown Pachmayr basketweave pad. Matching flared beavertail forend has push button & friction release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: .727". Restriction: .030" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: .055". STOCK: DAH: 2". DAC: 1 1/2+". LOP: 14 3/8". CAST: Neutral. WEIGHT: 8 lb. 8 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: CONDITION: exceptionally fine. Bbl. retaining over 90% original blue, 90% original case hardening color remains on action. Trigger guard w/ most of its original blue. Wood retains nearly all of its original finish w/ some light refinishing of butt w/ installation of new pad. Bore is bright & shiny. Action is tight.
