Bbl. 25 5/8" set has rimfire bbl. in full length matted top rib fitted w/ one standing leaf U notch & gold bead front sights. Claw scope bases are mounted on top of the right shotgun bbl., rear base partially obscuring makers name. Top of other bbl. is marked w/ importers name & address along w/ “Ferlach-Austria”. Other bbls. are marked w/ 1955 vintage Ferlach proofs for 16 Ga., 2 1/2" chambers & 7x65R rifle cartridge. Coin finished top lever action features tang shotgun style safety, rifle / shotgun selector on left side plate, blade bbl. extension stabilizer, bushed strikers, slight reinforcement to frame & dbl. triggers (both set). Action is engraved w/ over 70% coverage, well cut varying sized shaded scroll w/ in scroll & line borders. Side plates are engraved w/ attractive vignettes of European game w/ bugling stag in open woodlands on left side & a roebuck & doe in meadow on right. Blued steel triggerguard has scroll on bow. Lightly streaked dense European walnut, pistol grip buttstock measures 14 1/4" over ribbed hard rubber buttplate & features right hand shadow line cheekpiece, point pattern checkering at grip & a sling loop, matching that on bottom bbl., on toeline. Grip is fitted w/ lg. ebony cap w/ forward spur. Bottom has inlet cast silver oval w/ thistle motifs surrounding central circle engraved w/ monogram “RD”. Matching splinter forend has Deeley type release. Rifle is fitted w/ 30mm Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5-6 rail scope w/ 3 post & crosshair reticle in claw mounts (rear w/ windage). MEASUREMENTS: BORE DIAMETER: .670 left, .670 right. BORE RESTRICTIONS: .026 Mod left, .027 Mod right. WALL THICKNESS: .022 left, .027 right. DAC: approx. 1 9/16”. DAH: approx. 2 9/16”. WEIGHT: 8 lbs. CONDITION: very fine as reconditioned. Bbls. retaining essentially all of a fine satin reblack. Coin finish of action cleaned to bright. Stocks w/ fine professionally refinish w/ a few minor marks. Checkering competently recut. All bores are bright, sharp, and shiny. Action is very tight. Both triggers set & fire. There are a few minor marks & some scuffing on the right side of the objective bell of scope, some rubs go through to base metal. Rear mount has been repositioned. Optically clear.
