Bbls. 26" w/ folding blade ramp mounted combination front sight & quarter rib mounted express rear sight having 1 standing & 2 folding leafs. Right bbl. is marked "Holland & Holland, SS, New Bond Street, London". Left bbl. is marked "Winners Of All The 'Field' Rifle Trials, London". Rounded body receiver w/ back action locks. Features include double underlug & third bite locking w/ bar type cocking indicators. Double triggers, front trigger is checkered. Extractors. Action has borderline engraving w/ sunburst pattern around hinge pin. Lever fastened splinter forearm & steel capped pistol grip cheekpiece stock of fancy English walnut. Features include extended top tang, shadowline cheekpiece, trapdoor steel grip cap, swivel eyes & point pattern hand checkering. Toeline of stock has German silver nameplate. LOP: 14 1/2" over solid red London style pad. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 2 9/16". Stock has approx. 1/4" cast off. WEIGHT: 10 lbs, 10.6 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original oak & leather case w/ maker's label & instructions on inside lid. Case contains turn screws, oil bottle, cleaning rod & cleaning accessories along w/ 4 fired casings. Case shows expected wear & use inside & out. CONDITION: bbls. retain 90% reblacked finish showing small handling marks. Action has a cleaned gray appearance. Floorplate & trigger guard retain 80% reblued finish. Forearm has a varnish finish showing marks. Stock has a good oil type refinish.
