Harpers Perry 1849 percussion rifle with socket bayonet, full stock, woven sling, in overall good condition showing scattered pitting to firing areas, good markings, crisp action, good wood stock with old “Cs” carved into the right side ofthe butt stock and “PX9ARA” stamped into the rear trigger guard tang; shows arsenal like repairs, possibly why marked. Accompanied by a note from the consignor expressing his opinion of the markings. (Antique). Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
