Made in Italy in the late 1960's by early replica manufacturers like Armi San Paolo and branded for the Hawes importer label. Case hardened frame, hammer, trigger and loading lever. Thin, smooth trigger, knurled hammer, with bead front sight and v-notch rear sight on hammer. One piece wood grips are excellent, action is smooth with tight lock-up, brass has a nice aged patina, the case colors are good with some fading, the barrel has heavy holster wear and is mostly turned a gray patina with traces of blue and the bore is very good/bright with strong rifling.
