classic American styling. Measures 45 ½” overall with a 31” barrel of .44 caliber rifled with barrel measuring approximately 1” across the center and rounded muzzle for bullet starting. Iron trigger guard and butt plate. Marked “H.L. Siebert, 23 Main st, Cin. O”. (Cincinnati, Ohio) just up the river from Louisville and St. Louis! Gray patina finish with some light pitting and erosion. The hammer spur sheared off and missing. The stock has nice burl with many marks and scratched with a few small losses. Working well. Would improve with TLC and minor restorations. A quality rifle made on the route west. (Antique) Est.: $600-$1200
