this lot consists of a classic h.H. Heiser western leather rig including a no. 1710 holster and a no. 53 cartridge belt. The rig is configured for right handed use and is designed to fit a 5. 5 inch colt single action army revolver. The belt features traditional western floral tooling and is fitted with a large metal buckle. The holster displays matching floral tooling and decorative rawhide lacing along the edge, typical of heiser's well known western holster designs. the cartridge belt incorporates 30 loops sized for . 45 colt cartridges. The belt measures approximately 30 inches from the inner adjustment hole to the point where the buckle meets the leather, and approximately 34 inches to the outermost adjustment hole. The holster is stamped "heiser denver colo. " with the model number 1710, while the belt is stamped "heiser maker denver colo. " with the model number 53. overall condition shows typical handling and age related wear consistent with a vintage western leather rig. The leather remains supple with visible surface wear and darkening from use and storage. Tooling remains well defined and the stitching appears intact. This is a classic example of a heiser western holster and cartridge belt set suitable for display, collecting, or pairing with a period colt single action army revolver.
