American made semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Long Rifle only, and manufactured in Brooklyn, NY. Henry Repeating arms was founded in 1996 in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Bayonne, NJ in 2008, putting the manufacture of this rifle in that time frame. Rifle is a close copy of the AR-7 survival rifle designed by Eugene Stoner, and disassembles into smaller components that can be stored inside the hollow buttstock (rifle floats in water). Rifle features a matte black aluminum receiver, black polymer furniture, 16" sleeved polymer barrel, raised dovetailed front sight removed, elevation adjustable rear peep sight, serrated curved trigger, pull-out charging knob, serrated right receiver mounted manual safety, accepts detachable box magazines, knurled take-down nut, and a front trigger guard mounted serrated magazine release. The black polymer furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, no forend, and a black serrated butt plate/stock cover. The original black polymer finish retained is approximately 97% with edge wear at the muzzle, and light handling blemishes along the barrel. The black aluminum receiver finish remaining is approximately 98% with some light edge wear. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. The shoulder stock polymer is in excellent condition with little to speak of. Rifle includes two magazines total.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
