Maker marked triple barreled break open back lock shotgun/rifle made in Germany, no importer marks observed. Features blued barrels & lever, dull silver colored action, 26.75" barrels, chokes measure as FULL(L) / IM(R), shell length not marked (probably made for older 2-1/2" shells), blade front sight, underlever opening, tang barrel selector, rotating "V" notch rear sight, external hammers, double triggers, narrow flat steel sling swivels, solid rubber recoil pad. Wood forend checkered across bottom, has slight schnabel tip. Wood buttstock has curved Prince of Wales shaped grip, checkered wrists, 13-7/8" LOP to forward trigger, right handed pancake cheek piece, cartridge trap holding (4) rifle shells under hinged lid. Tang selector chooses which barrel is fired with forward trigger (right shotgun or rifle), and rotates rear sight to present a different sight view. Top tang screw at rear sits proud of tang by 1/4", showing bare threaded post. Fancy engraved eagles on both shotgun barrels at breech. Receiver, lock plates and cartridge trap door all display game scene engraving with floral border patterns. Finely stippled non-glare panel behind breech. Bores are good to very good condition. Retains 40% blued finish, turning an even brown, large cleaned areas on barrels show bare metal. Receiver is very good condition. Lock plates retain some case color in protected areas around hammers. Stocks are very good condition. Lock-up of action & barrels is tight. Condition is NRA Very Good *** C&R Firearm ***
