SN: 77071 Superb quality, engraved over/under sideplate double rifle & double barrel shotgun, factory three barrel set with .375/.375 H& H Mag, 7x65/7x65Rmm, & 12/12 Gauge barrels. Manufactured in West Germany circa 1980 by Friedrich Wilh. Heym, and relief engraved & signed by German master engraver Erich Boessler. Configuration: Beautiful relief engraved game scenes including five elephants & two crocodiles on the left sideplate, five Cape buffalo & four cranes on the right sideplate & lion head on the underside of the receiver, Germanic scroll on the barrel, receiver & forend metal, ejectors, blued 25" .375 H& H barrels with solid sighting rib & double Kersten locks, raised blade front sight, dovetailed rear sight, claw mounted Leupold Vari-X-III 1.5-5x scope, double triggers with single set trigger in front, brass cocked indicators, sliding tang safety, knurled top lever, sling swivels, finely point checkered extra fancy walnut forend with Deeley release and pistol grip shoulder stock with [Diamond E] brand gold inlayed trapdoor grip cap containing spare front sights for both sets of rifle barrels, beaded right hand cheek piece & Old English recoil pad. Includes an Emmebi black leather wrapped locking trunk case with partitioned interior lined in red felt. The case contains 25" 7x65/7x65Rmm barrels with open sights, claw mounted Leupold M8 4x scope & forend, 28" 12/12 gauge barrels with ventilated sighting rib, improved modified/improved cylinder fixed chokes, 2 3/4" chambers & forend, keys and a 20 round box of Browning .375 H& H Mag. The receiver is impeccable with no observed wear. The .375 barrels shows no wear but has a spot of rust on the left side of the barrel rib behind the rear sight and rust at the muzzle. The 7x56R barrels show no wear with a small amount of rust on the muzzle and the 12 gauge barrels show no wear but have a spot of light surface on the right side of the barrel rib above the forend and light surface rust around the front sight on the barrel rib. Action is tight, the bores are all pristine with the exception of the .375 barrels which have a small amount of rust in the bores at the muzzle, the optics are sharp and the satin finished select wood stocks are extra fine.
