One hunter and one non-hunter are invited to the Kupreanof Islands of Kuiu, Alaska for a 7-day boat based black bear hunt with Alaska Coastal Outfitters.
This hunt includes a fully guided spot and stalk hunt with meals, lodging, and trophy preparation, and fishing, crabbing, etc. as side-line activities.
Not included: Transportation to and from Kake, Alaska, hunting licenses and tags, taxidermy, alcohol, gratuity.
The rich salmon runs and extensive sedge flats found along the coast have produced a black bear population that is unparalleled anywhere in North America in numbers or size. Safari Club International recently recognized a new class of black bear in this region to reflect the size of these coastal bears. The Island bears our hunters take usually measure 6 ½’ - 7 ½’ with a few approaching 8’
All of our bears are black in color with no color phrases. Hair quality is excellent in this northern climate.
This hunt may be booked for early June or early September of 2023 or beyond.
Additional hunters may be added for $7,500 each.

Shipping will be calculated after the auction is concluded. Costs of shipping will depend on size and weight of packaging and are the full responsibility of the purchaser. Firearms must be shipped to an FFL. Arrangements can also be made to pick any item up in person after the close of the auction.
